I have really enjoyed being taught Reiki by Debbie, and can't begin to express how much richer my life is as a result. Debbie's relaxed teaching style brings a really "down to earth" feeling to her classes-although you are connecting with something very profound, it always feels like the most natural thing in the world to be doing. There is a real sense that all you have to do is be open, and trust in what you feel, and that the rest will flow. For me this has had a powerful de-mystifying effect on the whole subject...I was taught healing techniques, but also (and perhaps more importantly) felt connected to and ultimately part of a living tradition, rather than like an initiate into a secret. This has an immensely empowering effect. As does Debbie's commitment to providing ongoing support to her students-treating Reiki as an ongoing path, an open-ended personal journey. Through countless emails and months of tutorials I have been able to build my knowledge and experience gradually, as I am ready, and also connect with others on the same path.  I am extremely fortunate to have received my Reiki Master/ Teacher Training from Debbie. She is an incredibly humble, knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging facilitator who allows her students to develop and explore the wonderful experiences of Reiki. I learned a huge amount from Debbie in a very relaxed atmosphere which allowed me to explore many fascinating experiences at my own pace.  I was introduced to Debbie McDougall by a friend when l was diagnosed with a medical condition to try a crystal healing l went along with a opened mind. What l experienced was beautiful and mind blowing with energies l had never experienced before.  Since then l have never looked back and keep returning for more.  Debbie suggested l joined her to go along to a reiki share where we meditated worked on each other and l wanted to experience more.  l have gone on to do Reiki levels 1 and 2 and Five Element Reiki which have changed my life l am a more positive person calmer and relaxed. l approach everything in a much more light hearted way using reiki and symbols on daily situations such my life,family,friends and work with results. l can’t express enough how this has changed my life and helped with my medical condition. l recommend you go along and enjoy a workshop or meditation with Debbie they have been such fun and light hearted l have gained so much from them over the years.

 I feel very fortunate to have met and learned alongside Debbie. Having thought that I would 'never' be able to still my mind or visualise in order to meditate properly, I spent a very enjoyable, enlightening day with her, which in turn led to my 'opening up' and finding out that I could actually do it!

Debbie has a very easy, relaxed approach to teaching. She always listens and never judges, leaving you inspired by her knowledge and wisdom and leaves you yearning for more!

I recently undertook my Reiki Masters training with Debbie. Not only did she make it a fun filled two days, but she explained and demonstrated everything so thoroughly, that I left the weekend buzzing and well equipped to begin my new journey of discovery. The resources and articles she has also shared with me from both sets of training are excellent.

From my first experience of Reiki at the end of last year with Debbie I was keen to understand and progress further with this fascinating therapy.  Debbie's encouraging and open way prompted me to take a Level 1 course with her.  I was grateful for the opportunity to do a 1 to 1 day as making a course was impossible for me.  The day, as with all Debbie's training, was well structured whilst being suitably flexible to explore different topics/areas as they arose.  Even as a questioning scientist Debbie was patient and pragmatic to my string of queries and clarification requests.  Some of the energy I experienced during the day was the most powerful to date. It was a thrill to be able to feel the channelling of energy when giving a practice treatment.  I really value the post course support that Debbie provides instead of having to fumble along alone.  Thank you very much Debbie for helping progress on the Reiki road.
