The Munay-Ki are the nine great rites of initiation of the medicine way. The word munay means “I love you” or “BE AS THOU ART.” The Munay-Ki are the nine gates that heal us and transform our human energy field into that of homo luminous.
The prophecies of the ancient Americas speak about a new human appearing on the planet – one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent nature. The Munay-Ki are the codes for the new human. They are delivered in the form of energetic transmissions. The ninth rite, the “Creator Rite” was transmitted for the first time in the summer of 2006 at the Holy Mountains in the Andes. The nine initiations of the Munay-Ki have only been available until recently to the high wisdom keepers of the Americas.

The Four Foundation Rites Healer's Rite
Connects you to a lineage of luminous beings from the past, who come to assist you in your personal transformation. Awakens the healing power in your hands so that everyone you touch is blessed. There is tremendous spiritual assistance available, and these luminous ones work in our sleep to heal the wounds of the past and of our ancestors. Bands of Power
Five luminous belts that are woven into the luminous energy field (LEF) for protection. They act as filters, breaking down any negative energy that comes toward the person, into one of the five elements. These energies then feed your LEF instead of making you sick. Harmony Rite

Starkeeper's Rite
This rite anchors you safely to the time after the great change, said to occur around 2012. Your physical body begins to evolve into homo luminous, the aging process is slowed down, your DNA is re-informed, and you become more resistant to disease. Creator Rite
Awakens the Creator-light within and brings forth a sense of stewardship for all creation, from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies in the universe. Once attained only through direct transmission from Spirit, it is now possible to transmit from one person to another. As you work with the germination of these rites you'll be touched and blessed by angels. You simply need to open yourself to the wisdom of the Earthkeepers, and all will be bestowed upon you.
The Inca elders realize that the earth is at a tipping point and that it is crucial to share these great initiations of transformation outside of their lineage. Dr. Alberto Villoldo's goal is to have enough people teaching this around the world to gain a critical mass of people who are always walking in the light. When you receive all nine rites you acquire a stewardship for all creation who walks in their true wisdom and power.
These rites can only be received by someone that has already been initiated. Once you receive all nine rites you are to share them outwardly to the world.

I loved my first Munay-Ki workshop which I approached with great anticipation and it was all that I hoped it would be. Debbie's way of teaching was gentle and supportive, and it was an honour to receive the seeds of the first four Rites from her. And to watch her pass the keys on to the other participants with such focus and reverence was an inspiration. By the end of the day, I had received so much energy that I went home and slept for 10 hours! I am not sure I took in everything as we covered such a lot during that day, and for this reason I have found the manual so valuable. It is clearly laid out and reading and re-reading it each day has helped to remind me of the things I had forgotten, and has answered other questions which have 'popped' up since the workshop. This is another very enjoyable and enlightening workshop to do. Whilst there is a lot to cover in the day, Debbie teaches in such a way that it all flows very easily. The Munay-Ki is very different, but a lovely set of energies to work with and I liked having an extra way to enjoy such energy. I had such a boost that day that I slept for 10 hours that night, and the next day I was buzzing with life! I haven't given the Rights to anyone else yet, but I'm sure I will pass them on in the future. For those who've done Reiki or other energy work, this is a fabulous add on. Nicky

Karuna Reiki®
What is Karuna Reiki®?
Karuna was developed by William Lee Rand, of the International Centre for Reiki training, and a group of his more sensitive Reiki Masters, who had channelled several symbols during their practice and meditations. They worked together with the help of higher dimensional Beings and eventually developed a new system of working with Reiki and these new and powerful symbols. This system was named by William as Karuna Reiki® Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean ‘any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others’ and could also be translated as ‘compassionate action.’ When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. It is also stated in the Buddhist literature that Karuna must be accompanied by parjna or wisdom in order to have the right effect. Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. Thus your healing is quickened as well. Karuna Reiki® opens you to work more closely with all enlightened beings. This includes those enlightened ones who are physically present as well as those in spirit. Karuna is incredibly powerful as the combined energies of the symbols and the Reiki work on your energy field. Most practitioners will notice an immediate and wonderful difference in their ability to channel healing energies. Why is Karuna so powerful? Karuna Reiki is able to create such powerful healing effects because it activates our transpersonal chakras. In order for our body to be able to integrate the higher frequency healing rays that are being anchored on the planet at this time, our subtle energy system must be able to hold more light now than in ever has done in the past.
The activation of our transpersonal chakras, such as the stellar gateway, soul star, causal chakra, ehteric heart, earth star and Gaia gateway is vital to this process. This is what Karuna Reiki will help to achieve for you. It is not necessary to have an intellectual understanding of the transpersonal chakra system or even the basic chakras in order to work with Karuna Reiki. Remember this energy knows exactly what to do in every situation and it knows precisely how to do it.
The Transpersonal Chakras
The stellar gateway and soul star chakras are portals through which very high frequency light can enter our etheric field. The stellar gateway is like a spiritual barometer that measures the intensity of light our field can hold. The soul star is the filter through which the light is measured and flows. The soul star also facilitates access to our personal library within the akashic records. The causal chakra is the center that accepts the “dosages” of light that the upper two chakras deliver, and it assists in higher activations of the crown, brow and throat chakras. The ascending heart and sacred heart chakras house the essence of Universal Compassion and Universal Love. They create a triad via an etheric link with the heart chakra. There is a holographic projection of the link between these three centers held in the subtle energy field. This hologram is known as the etheric heart. Its purpose is to facilitate communication via the language of light between our soul, the Universal Heart, and the Universal Mind. Although the diagram depicts the etheric heart in what appears to be a fixed position in our subtle energy field, it is not stationary. We are dealing with a multidimensional light-form that is in constant motion; pulsing in and out of various layers and positions within our etheric field. When giving a Karuna Reiki® treatment, an awareness that both your energy system and the client’s are affected in the same way is helpful. As we are anchoring these higher frequencies, our energy bodies are able to speak to one another through the language of light. Through this interaction between practitioner and client, Karuna Reiki® receives the “information” that it needs. Karuna Reiki® Training Because of the very high frequencies of the Karuna energies it is necessary for a person to be ‘ready’ to work with them. This is why Karuna is given only to Reiki Masters, who have had experience with the higher frequencies of the Master symbols and the higher level practice they are empowered/attuned to in their training.
The Karuna Reiki® Class
This class is for anyone who has had Reiki Master training. It is complete with two levels, two attunements, four master symbols and eight treatment symbols. We have experimented with and taught this system since 1994 and have found it to be effective and powerful. In fact, most students find it more powerful than Usui Reiki! The energy has a more definite feeling to it. It works on the emotional and spiritual levels and also can help one become more grounded. Those who receive the attunements report experiences with their guides, angels, and higher self and feel the healing presence of other enlightened beings. A brief description of the four Karuna® I symbols is given here: The first symbol prepares the client for deep healing and is useful with past life issues. It helps release karma and deeply seated issues on the cellular level. The second symbol heals deeply and can be used to breakup the negative patterns we unconsciously use to insulate ourselves from the truth, thus shattering delusion and denial. It heals the shadow self. The third symbol fills the person with love and restores balance. The fourth symbol completes the treatment by bringing the client back into the body and grounding. The Karuna II symbols are of a higher vibration and more powerful. They help connect directly with the Higher Self and work on a deeper level. While they have specific purposes discussed in class, the experience of their energy allows intuitive guidance in their use. Both levels of Karuna Reik®i and both attunements will be given as well as instruction and practice on the use of all twelve symbols. You will be able to teach all four levels of Karuna Reiki®, two practitioner levels and two master levels after taking this class. Lots of practice time is included for giving treatments, using the symbols and for learning the attunement processes. We will also be doing a Reiki meditation to be aware of and heal the Shadow Self and using chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki®. A certificate and a 45 page manual is included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and each attunement process. You will also be offered the opportunity to become a "Registered Karuna Reiki® Master" with The International Center for Reiki Training. You will then be able to use the centre manuals and your student certificates will come have a seal from the Centre.
